Hello, I’m Anna
I'm a craniosacral therapist, and Shantiala is my practice in Latvia. I see craniosacral therapy as anatomy-focused energy healing. I'm a scientist who plays with energy, and in a session I feel like a translator: I listen to the body, I speak with the bones and the tissues, and I notice the subtle conversations the body is having. When I meet stuckness, I allow it to flow.

The space of safety
The most important thing in a session is the space of safety. I only provide that space, and you do your own work. Think of a session as a cocoon: a safe place to let your natural process unfold, without any rush. In your own time, you pick up your own butterfly.
To me, healing is integration. It's when something no longer triggers you, and the emotional charge is gone.
My path
I didn't start as a therapist. My start was culture, travel and languages, because I've always liked to explore. I studied Hispanic Studies at Queen Mary University of London, and it's where I got my nickname, Mariposa, Spanish for butterfly. In 2010 I began as a holistic massage therapist, trained and working at Lush Spa. Since then I have followed my heart and my curiosity through many teachers and trainings, including sexological bodywork, Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent, and Zen coaching, and most recently craniosacral therapy.
Looking back, one thread runs through it all: the transformative healing power of bliss.

Working with me
Sessions are available in person and online, and distance sessions work from anywhere. You choose the depth, from something light and gentle to a longer session with a proper conversation and intention-setting.
Craniosacral therapy is an alternative healing practice. It works alongside medical care and does not replace it.
After many years in London, I'm moving home to Latvia to build a new life and to grow Shantiala. I would love to meet you.
